Avery Johnson Front-Runner For New Jersey Nets Head Coaching Job
According to the New York Daily News, former Dallas Mavericks player and head coach Avery Johnson is the favorite for the New Jersey Nets head coaching position.
Despite Phil Jackson buzz and the Nets dancing with the devil and the NBA’s worst regular season record (almost), Johnson is actually considered to be a “perfect” candidate for the job.
At the very worst, he’d have the Nets playing hard on defense, and their offense would be more controlled, at a minimum.
