After two surgical procedures on his infected left elbow, Golden State Warriors star forward David Lee has been released from the hospital, with redness and swelling reportedly down.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Lee will be re-evaluated in the coming days, but is expected to miss games all the way through early next week. Lee is a near-lock to be out from Friday to Monday, with no concrete timetable set for his return.

Fantasy Effect: Lee is an absolute beast in fantasy basketball, even after switching teams in the off-season, so just be patient and wait this out. The original loose timetable of about 2-3 weeks might have been a bit long-winded, as it appears Lee’s elbow is already looking a lot better. Stay tuned, as Lee could possibly be back as early as late next week.
